Sloe Gin

A truly unique, regional craft gin made with sloe berries grown and handpicked in Bridgetown. To the best of our knowledge, these may be the first sloe berries successfully grown commercially on the Australian mainland.

Whole sloe berries are steeped in our Grounded Gin for six months, allowing their natural colour and flavour to slowly infuse into the spirit. Sugar is added after approximately three months, then the berries are gently drained and their juice blended back into the gin — never pressed.

The result is a beautiful ruby-red gin/liqueur, combining rich berry flavours of plum, cherry and hints of raspberry with the botanical backbone of gin. Smooth, jammy fruit flavours are balanced by a refreshing tartness, with juniper and warming spice still present beneath the sweetness.

Naturally coloured by the fruit, minimally filtered and bottled without added colouring, this is a distinctive, handcrafted expression of Bridgetown and its local produce.
